Final stage - report


Todays final stage was just 14,5 km but with a steep final climb of 4km and a spectacular finish at the Tiger's Nest monastery in 3100m in altitude.

All runners have finished, happy and proud of what they have achieved this week. 200km in 6 days, 10000m ascent and 8000m descent.

Fastest runner today was Manu Pastor fighting down overall winner Salva Calvo by just 2 minutes. Third place today went to Australian Gus Murray.

As in the 5 previous stages joined female winner today were Sophie Power and Zenia Inselmann. Third place again went to Charla Heimer.

Overall winner in the mens category was Salva Calvo ahead of Manu Pastor, both from Spain. Third place went to Stefan Sigron from Switzerland.

Overall joined female winner are Zenia Inselmann from Denmark and Britain Sophie Power ahed of American Charla Heimer.

Tonights award ceremony starts with a local cultural show and ends with a buffet dinner at the Zhiwa Ling Hotel in Paro.
