Breaking News - Race Report Stage 2 - Bhutan

Our runners are fully recharged after an evening of chanting prayers.  Todays stage 2 of 29km started at the Chlorten Nyingpo Monastery with a 19km ascend to the Sinchula pass through the forest to 3400m altitude.  After another 1750m descend, they then arrive at the Thimphu valley.  The weather has been nice to us - with good sunshine and breeze in the forest.  A bit of shower later at the day.

The leading males remain the same with Kurt Alderweireldt from Belgium leading, Loz Wong from HK in the second, followed by Michael Traub from the USA.  In the lady's category, Sabrina Bacinelli from Italy remains in the lead followed by Ruthann Sheahan from Ireland and Wiwin Leung from HK at the third place.

We hope the weather will stay good tomorrow for our runners. Special thanks to children from the Kabesa village who cheer for our runners and escort many of them to the finishing line.
