Il nostro Team poliglotto è accompagnato da volontari molto motivati, ed è assistito da un’organizzazione locale specializzata soprattutto nell’organizzare eventi in zone remote.

Il nostro Team di esperti in medici qualificati al più alto livello Vi assisterà in ogni cura medica durante la corsa.

Stefan Betzelt, fondatore e General Manager di GlobalLimits

Stefan è nato e risiede a Wiesbaden / Germania, ha fondato GlobalLimits nel 2012. Ha acquistato la sua esperienza con la partecipazione in molte gare ultra come le Marathon des Sables, Les Foulees de la Soie China, Himalayan 100Mile Stage Race, Racing the Planet Namibia e Oman Desert Raid . Ha anche partecipato a più di 20 maratone in città (PB 2:46) e scalato il Monte Kilimanjaro e il Monte Aconcagua con successo.

Durante i suoi viaggi, in oltre 85 paesi, ha imparato molte cose di culture e popoli diversi. Ora usa la sua esperienza per organizzare le corse di GlobalLimits.

Stefan,  prima di mettersi in proprio, nel 2004, come consulente nel settore finanziario e del personale, lavorava come Managing Director in una banca leader a livello internazionale.

Ryan Paterson, MD; DTM&H; DiMM - Medical Director

Dr. Ryan Paterson attended the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Wilderness/Altitude/Expedition Medicine at Denver Health Medical Center/University of Colorado. He also holds advanced certifications in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H) and in Mountain Medicine (DiMM). He is a practicing Emergency Physician for Kaiser Permanente at St Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Paterson serves as co-course director for the Wilderness Medical Society and Universities of Colorado and Utah’s Diploma in Mountain Medicine Course (DiMM). He is the current United States delegate to the International Society of Mountain Medicine (ISMM). Currently, Dr. Paterson is working, in partnership with CU South Denver to develop a Wilderness Medicine for Kids program utilizing an original curriculum. He also serves as medical director for No Barriers and another non-profit (Kolkata City Mission) working to establish sustainable development solutions in education, health, women’s empowerment, micro-enterprise and public-health for informal communities in and around Kolkata, India.

Jeremy Joslin, MD, Syracuse/USA - Chief Medical Advisor

Jeremy is a board-certified emergency physician with experience and training in the wide spectrum of prehospital medicine from austere wilderness medical support to urban EMS & Disaster response. As the director of the Wilderness & Expedition Medicine program at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, he trains other emergency physicians to provide operational medical support in wilderness & expedition settings while he maintains a research focus in endurance and heat-related illnesses. 

He has worked expeditions and events in remote Utah, the Sahara Desert, the Gobi Desert, and the Amazon jungle; and provides ongoing event medical direction for local & national endurance races, as well as other mass-gatherings and events.
